Leadership coaching for executives
You've read the books. You've done the trainings. The patterns are still there.
Most leadership development tells you what to do. This work is about why you don't, and what to do about that.
Richard Reynolds, LMFT · Leadership Coach
The real problem
Leadership development has a follow-through problem.
You know what good leadership looks like. You could teach the frameworks. And yet under pressure, the same reactions show up and the same conversations go sideways.
The drive, high standards and need to prove yourself that got you here are often running on old fuel. When they stop working, the instinct is to reach for more of the same: another book, another system, more discipline.
The missing piece isn't more information. It's the inner work that makes any of it possible.
- You stay calm in the meeting and replay it at 2 a.m.
- You know you should delegate and still end up redoing the work.
- You avoid the hard conversation until it becomes a crisis.
- You push harder when what's needed is something else entirely.
- You've succeeded by every external measure and still feel like it's never enough.
The approach
Self-awareness as the central discipline of leadership.
Not self-optimization or performance hacks. The harder, slower work of actually knowing yourself, which is where lasting change in how you lead comes from.
More information doesn't close the gap. Understanding what's in it does.
From effortful to effortless
My work draws on wisdom from neuroscience, psychology and somatic practices to shift old patterns making you work so hard.
1:1 executive coaching
A focused, six-month engagement.
Real change in long-standing patterns takes time. Each engagement is built around you: your role, your pressures and the patterns you want to change.
This is for you if…
- You're an executive who has done the leadership development and still sees the same patterns.
- You sense a gap you haven't quite been able to name.
- You're willing to look inward, not just at your team or strategy.
It starts with a conversation.

About
Richard Reynolds, LMFT
For eight years I worked as a clinician, and I kept hearing the same story from clients: the impact their leaders and bosses were having on their lives. It made one thing clear to me. How someone leads ripples out far beyond the office.
Leadership has always been part of my own path. I've never been part of a company or organization where I didn't end up in a leadership role. But I noticed that almost no one was positioned to help leaders do the inner work that real change requires.
That's what I do now. I bring a clinician's depth to leadership coaching, so we work with what's actually driving the patterns, not just the surface behavior.
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
- AAMFT Approved Supervisor
- 8 years clinical practice
- 2 years clinical supervision
